Description
For a long time, I’ve thought about making a meditation cushion that could actually survive long sits outdoors in an array of conditions while still looking good in a special corner indoors. These waxed-canvas cushions (made of the same material used in old cowboy rain jackets) just get more beautiful the more they are worn. They can survive in the snow, rain, damp grass, dirt, etc. Carefully sewed and stuffed with organic buckwheat hulls by Ben Sherwyn in the workshop, they are adjustable to all heights, and feel really comfortable on the tookus. They measure 12″ wide x 7″ tall, but can be adjusted to any height preference by filling or removing hulls through the zippered opening behind the handle. They weigh around 5lbs when fully stuffed (great for me at 6’5″), but when filled for a person of average height they weigh closer to 3.5lbs.
